Responsibilities

  • Construction work is coordinated according to priorities and plans.
  • Creating timetables and keeping track of crew attendance Assigning general and daily responsibilities.
  • Interpreting drawings and architectural plans the ability to properly use and maintain tools an understanding of building and safety regulations
  • Building and carpentry skills knowledge of building methods and materials a basic level of math
  • Skill interpreting drawings and architectural plans the ability to properly use and maintain tools

Requirements

  • Demonstrated construction foremanship.
  • Thorough understanding of construction techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
  • Electrical and hydraulic systems are both important to understand.
  • Ability to understand blueprints, drawings, and plans
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate and report
  • Math aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Physical fitness and endurance
  • A high school diploma or a skilled trades diploma (electrician, carpenter etc.)
  • Any other construction trade experience benefits from having a Licensed Building Practitioner License.
